Tournament Rules

The Tournament is round robin run over 8 weeks commencing 5 & 6 October 2023.
Thursdays: Under 8’s – Under 18’s (Girls and Boys) & Senior Womens
Fridays: Over 18’s – Seniors (Men)

Finals will be held for the top 4 teams on the points table following the round robin

Semi-finals will be 1v4 and 2v3 with winners progressing to the Grand Final.

Game Rules

Match Format

All matches will be played 6 v 6

Duration of Match

Games are of two equal halves of 20 minutes
There is a three minute half time break
No time will be added
Games must finish on time

Restarts

If the ball goes out over the sideline, play will restart from a kick-in from where it crossed the sideline by the opposing team. No throw ins.
When the ball crosses over the goal line it is a corner or goal kick. Goal kicks can be taken anywhere within the goal box while corners must be taken from the corner spot. The ball must be placed on the mark prior to kicking.

Scoring

Goals can be scored directly from all restarts (kick-offs, corners, goal kicks and kick-ins), and indirect from free-kicks

Free Kicks

All free kicks are indirect. All opposing players must remain 5 metres from the ball until it is kicked.
A free kick awarded inside the Penalty area it will betaken 5 metres back from the goal line.

Offside

There is no offside.
